Who and What are The Reasonables?

The Reasonables are people just like you and me who combine head and heart as we examine the evidence about the nature of reality, about the nature of humanity, and our relationship to the source of creation.

With regard to the day to day world, we look at conflicted, confusing, and trying situations and circumstances in the outside world and ask:

What solution or solutions will offer the highest good for the greatest number at the smallest cost -- cost being figured in terms of lives lost, people injured, grief, misery, deprivation, financial cost, time, energy, resources, effort, and focus of attention being withdrawn from other aspects of life.

Although many of us follow traditional religious paths to God, most of us have concluded that traditional religions are not for us. We seek Creator/God from a different approach. We call ourselves Universal Spirituality Seekers.²

Some of us are presently ignoring both religion and spirituality. We are not atheists. It's that we simply don't know how to relate to The Source of Creation.

If asked to describe ourselves, most of us would include answers such as the following:

I follow a traditional religion and I realize that my way is not the only path to God.

Traditional religion no longer serves me. Yes, I acknowledge a higher power and a source of creation. I simply do not know what that source is or how it functions.

If I choose to pray, I connect directly to Creator/God. Even the Christian Bible tells me that churches do not have exclusive access to God: Matthew 6:5-6

I realize that I am intimately connected to God, to nature and to my fellow humans.

I see the present government (July 2008) as leading us into economic and environmental disaster?

I see the people who are sitting back, doing nothing, and waiting for God to rescue them ² as taking a rather foolhardy approach to problem solving.

I am concerned about the excessive environmental destruction?

I am concerned about the rapidly rising prices of gas, food, and every thing else?

I am concerned about the intentional destruction of the middle class?

I think of myself as open minded, new thinking, honest, fair, compassionate, rational, and reasonable.

There are now millions of us who fit most of the above descriptions. If we work together and support each other, we can create the world any way we choose it to be.² Collectively, we have incredible power because most of us have had some training regarding the ways in which The Universe functions.² This gives us a huge advantage over those who run the existing political and economic systems. Together, we can manifest the visions that have been previously ignored. We can make major transformations.

According to a 2008 research report by PEW Research Center, 60% of the American population believe in God as a superhuman being and 25% believe in God as an impersonal, Universal Force. These results indicate that approximately seventy-five million people in the U.S. believe in some form of Universal Spirituality.²

Up until now, the power and potential of these people, as a group, has been completely ignored or put down by those controlling the nation's political and religious structures.

We are no longer willing to sit on the sidelines while those controlling of the government commit collective suicide and drag the rest of the world down with them. Here are just four of their socially destructive, collective suicide tools:

Ignoring Nature's Doomsday Machine. ² We have turned on Nature's doomsday machine. We must turn it back off.

The Rapture ² If "Resident" Bush is not secretly promoting The Rapture, he's giving a good imitation of someone who is.

Bush & Company deficit financing ² Deficit financing is destroying the American middle class and America's production capacity.

The Great Money Rip-off ² The U. S. Financial system is not only rotten to the core, it's about to collapse. If it collapses, humans will not have the capacity to Reverse Global Warming before it becomes unstoppable.

We are approaching political and social transformation, not from the perspective of asking to be heard, but from the perspective of creating the world as we choose it to be.¹ We are inviting you to join us in person with physical activity and/or with financial assistance.²

Our First Goal:

Our primary goal is to focus more attention onto building the new political, economic, social, religious, and environmental structures before the old ones completely collapse. It's far easier to build the new while there is still something left of the old. If we wait much longer, either the Bush & Company's economic-Disneyland policies,² or some idiots with weapons of mass destruction, or Global Climate Change ² are going to destroy our capacity to build the new structures with any degree of ease or efficiency.

Within the above contest, our goal is to Reverse Global Warming ² before it becomes unstoppable. To do so effectively and in a timely manner we must face reality, at least, we must face what the evidence tells us is most likely reality. Thus our cherished beliefs are going to come under scrutiny, and some of them are going to show up as untrue or dysfunction or both.

Regarding Money

In the United Sates, one percent of the population owns over thirty percent of the wealth. The wealthiest ten percent of the population own more wealth than the poorest ninety percent combined. Top corporate executives earn two-hundred-and-fifty time as much money as an average worker.

It doesn't take Einstein or Sherlock Holmes to figure out that there is something terribly wrong in the financial world. Unless you are one of the super-wealthy, you are being lied to, conned, ripped off, used, cheated, and Milked for Money.² We'll show you how it's done and how you can stop the rip off. Lies of Omission:

By far, the most common form of deception is The Lie of Omission.² The con artists and manipulators simply ignore truth. The Truth is treated as if it isn't there. It's our socially acceptable way of intentional deception. It's at the heart of the political and religious structures that dominate the world.

Is this Biblical passage correct? "Know the truth and the truth will set you free." If the truth sets you free, what do lies do? They put the believers in invisible prisons -- prison not of stone and steel, but those made out of false beliefs -- prisons where the inmates have no idea that they are in prison. Here's the bottom line result:

Because for centuries, the general public has been spoon-fed false stories, half-truths, lies of omission, and outright lies, you, I, and everyone else have been (and still are) making critical, irreversible, life-altering decisions based upon false, incomplete, and/or intentionally-deceptive information!

Three Core Questions:

If humanity is going to survive, we (individually and collectively) must find and openly speak truthful answers to the three questions below. The answers must be

Personal -- about ourselves, individually.

Collective -- about our social behavior and our inter-human behavior.

Environmental -- about how we relate to nature.

Spiritual -- about how we relate to the source of All Creation.

1) Where Am I? (collectively, where are we?) Are my beliefs accurate? Is my behavior functional and sustainable?

2) Where do I/we choose to be? For example: "Is my goal simply to get into Christian heaven, or is my goal to create as mutually beneficial, long-term sustainable, socially acceptable society."

3) How do I/we get to our goal from where we are right now?

Consider the possibility described below as a starting point.

To do nothing -- to ignore this political reality -- is to participate in the collective suicide mission.

Obama Clinton Edward, and the Democratic team must avoid machiavelli for politicians, too many campaign promises, rumor mongering, voter fraud, political corruption, truth spinning stories, scandal, dirty campaign, playing election secrets, parleying dirty tricks, combining religion and politics, playing on fear, claiming to be a political pundit, an attack upon the constitution, buying votes with tax dollars, accepting money that is from a questionable source, taking credit for other people's work, manipulating the media, excessively controversial tactics, manipulation of public perception, leaking stories, stories that spin the truth, and voter fraud.
