The Republican con artists managed to pass a law supposedly to prevent voter Fraud.    The law was/is actually intended to keep the elderly, the poor, and the disenfranchised minorities from voting because they vote primarily Democratic.    The law requires people to have a picture ID in order to vote.   For many people, the handicapped, the elderly, etc, the energy, the time, the travel, the cost, etc.,  puts a major stumbling block between them and the voting booth.

It also provides a tool which allows unethical voter registrars to inhibits many college students from voting because they often have two addresses, their temporary college address and their legal home address.   Why?  Because they, too, vote more often Democratic than Republican.   

The constitutionality of the law was challenged and "Resident" Bush's two Supreme Court appointees, Alito and Roberts, were major players in allowing this law to be enforced.   The con artists won another round and drove another nail in the coffin of freedom, fairness and equality.
